About The Dog Connection TV
PROBLEM: Overpopulation of Pets; Abandoned pets; Strays
SOLUTION: The Dog Connection TV is about much more than dogs and live broadcasts. It's about saving our beloved pets, and enjoying them even more by "thinking like they think." Between 9 and 11 MILLION animals die every year in shelters (Humane Society of the United States estimates 3-4 million in their shelters alone) and only we - as pet owners -- can stop it. TDCTV is a social network for pet lovers with some fun stuff to buy (proceeds to save pets) and an opportunity to share what our dogs do & think.
The Dog Connection TV is a marketing strategy used to bring an awareness to people that Pets are smart and have been teaching us how to act for years. We just didn't know it. With the news coming from the Dog's perspective it enlightens the reader to see the world thru the eyes of a beloved pet, which is quite different than a human's view. We humans see pain, a dog sees comfort and compassion as an example. With the help of dogs this awareness will bring an action which has been lacking for a long time. That is to realize that "Dogs Are Family." hey have been and will continue to contribute to the family. But now it's time to listen to them by learning how to Speak Dog.
The goal is to bring awareness to Shelter dogs who are not homeless mutts, but once belonged to a family. They want nothing more than to go home. With the help of our Canine Community Reporters going to Shelters, rescue groups and local pet related business they can tell the story of what the "animals behind bars" are really thinking. That is why a percentage of the proceeds goes to help the Shelters. With a kill shelter it's even more critical to get them adopted.
Our news stories coming from our CCR's help us to understand exactly what Dog's around the world are teaching us every minute of every day through The Dog Connection Show
Why connect with your Dog?
When we think about a connection, we think about creating a relationship between friends. That is exactly what we are talking about here.
Want to be Enlightened about your Dog? We're absolutely certain that your Dog has so many hidden talents, lessons and superior capabilities to change your life for the better, we're putting all our efforts into helping you learn how to connect with your Dog. The Dog Connection TV Network launched The Dog Connection Show on May 1, 2019. Segments of the show are currently running live on Facebook and YouTube. Each show relates to understanding your dog and making a connection from the heart level.
We begin with our main show each week at the same time. This show is hosted by Gaetan Charest and Kathy Tarochione. Each week A Good Dog Day segment will be covered in this show along with additional content from each of the segments we’ve broadcast throughout the week.
Next, we're using our Canine Conversations Segment to gather all the important information about what's happening in the World of Dogs. We'd like to think of them as "Dog Tales." From interviewing leading Dog experts to demonstrating a product, the Hangouts are a winner for us. Want to be on the Show? Just let us know.
Our Rainbow Bridge Segment is always a tearjerker for those losing a pet. You can count on our support when you’re going through this difficult time.
Then our Empathy For Dogs Segment is about using the hashtag #EmpathyForDogs, signing up to be part of the movement and dedicating some time and effort to making a difference for Dogs that need help. It doesn’t have to be financial help either.
Once we have content from our segments, we then put them all into our main show. And Walla! That's what we're talkin about! Each show is designed to focus on enlightening people about the value of their Dogs. The incredible gift they give us every day. And most importantly the services they provide to those who really need their help. How many of you really know the value and power of your Dog? It is our hope to bring an awareness and paradigm shift in your thinking to recognize your Dog as Family and hopefully become your "Best Friend.
